These Terms of Service apply to qrmakerx.site and the tools, pages, guides and other content made available through the website.
By accessing or using QRmakerX, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the website.
1. About QRmakerX
QRmakerX provides tools for generating static QR codes and performing related browser-based tasks, including selected image, text, JSON, Base64, barcode and developer utilities.
Some tools, features or sections may be experimental, incomplete, temporarily unavailable or identified as requiring future server-side infrastructure. A description of a planned feature is not a promise that it will be released or remain available.
2. Eligibility and authority
You must have the legal capacity to accept these Terms. If you use QRmakerX for an organisation, client or another person, you confirm that you are authorised to act for them and accept these Terms on their behalf.
3. Acceptable use
You may use QRmakerX only for lawful purposes. You must not use the website, its tools or generated outputs to:
- Promote fraud, scams, phishing, impersonation or deceptive activity.
- Distribute malware, spyware, harmful code or unauthorised tracking tools.
- Link to illegal, abusive, misleading, infringing or harmful content.
- Violate intellectual-property, privacy, confidentiality, publicity or other legal rights.
- Harass, threaten, exploit or harm another person.
- Interfere with the website, hosting provider, security systems or other users.
- Attempt unauthorised access to systems, accounts, networks or data.
- Use automated requests in a way that overloads, disrupts, scrapes or damages the website or a third-party service used by it.
- Bypass usage limits, security controls or access restrictions.
4. Responsibility for your content
You are responsible for the URLs, text, WiFi credentials, contact information, public file links, images, logos, payment links, social-profile links, locations and other content you enter into QRmakerX or include in generated outputs.
Before publishing, printing or distributing a QR code, you should verify that:
- The encoded destination or information is correct.
- The QR code scans successfully on appropriate devices and applications.
- The content is lawful, safe and appropriate for its intended audience.
- You have permission to use any logos, images, trademarks or protected material.
- The QR code does not expose confidential, sensitive or private information.
- Any linked website or file remains publicly accessible for as long as the QR code is expected to work.
5. Static QR codes
QR codes created by the current free generator are static. The information or destination is encoded directly into the QR code and normally cannot be changed after creation.
QRmakerX does not currently provide built-in scan tracking, editable destinations, dynamic redirection, expiration controls or long-term QR-code management.
QRmakerX is not responsible for printing costs, replacement costs, campaign losses or other consequences caused by an incorrect, outdated, damaged, poorly printed, low-contrast or insufficiently tested QR code.
6. Public file-link QR codes
QRmakerX does not upload or host files merely because you create a QR code. To create a file-related QR code, you must first place the file on a website, cloud-storage service or another hosting provider and paste a public link.
You are responsible for the link's permissions, availability, security, content, retention and compliance with the hosting provider's terms. A QR code may stop working if the file is removed, renamed, restricted or moved.
7. WiFi and location QR codes
A WiFi QR code contains the network information needed to connect, which may include the network password. Use a guest network where possible and do not distribute a WiFi QR code more widely than intended.
Location tools may use browser geolocation, address-search services and third-party map providers. Search results, coordinates and map information may be incomplete or inaccurate. Verify the final location before publishing or relying on it.
Do not submit confidential, private or sensitive addresses to a public address-search provider. You must not use the address-search feature for automated, bulk or abusive requests.
8. Image and browser-based tools
Image, text, JSON, Base64, URL and similar tools are designed to operate in the browser. Performance depends on your device, browser, file size, available memory, internet connection and third-party resources.
Background removal may require downloading a third-party processing model. Results may be imperfect, particularly for complex images, low-quality photographs, reflections, fine hair, transparent objects or cluttered backgrounds.
Image enhancement and upscaling cannot guarantee newly created detail or professional-quality results. Large files or intensive settings may be limited to protect browser performance.
9. Downloads and compatibility
Available formats may include PNG, SVG and PDF, depending on the tool. QRmakerX does not guarantee that every file will open, print, display or scan correctly in every browser, device, application, printer or production process.
You are responsible for checking dimensions, colour contrast, quiet zones, resolution, file format, print quality and final scanning performance before commercial or large-volume use.
10. Features requiring backend services
Certain functions, including user accounts, dynamic QR codes, hosted landing pages, scan analytics, secure public APIs, text-to-image generation and generative object editing, require server-side infrastructure and may not currently be available.
Planned or unavailable features may be changed, delayed, cancelled or introduced under separate terms.
11. No guaranteed availability
QRmakerX may modify, suspend, restrict or discontinue any part of the website at any time. Access may be interrupted by maintenance, hosting problems, security events, browser incompatibility, third-party outages or other causes.
QRmakerX does not guarantee uninterrupted access, permanent availability, error-free operation or compatibility with every device or browser.
12. Third-party services and destinations
QRmakerX may use or link to third-party services for hosting, email, fonts, maps, address lookup, QR generation, PDF creation, image processing, content delivery, security or other functions.
QRmakerX does not control third-party services and is not responsible for their availability, accuracy, content, licensing, security, policies, retention practices or conduct.
QR codes generated through QRmakerX may open destinations chosen by users. QRmakerX does not review, approve, monitor or endorse every destination encoded by users.
13. Payments and third-party checkout links
QRmakerX does not process payments, hold funds, verify recipients, create merchant accounts or guarantee transactions. A payment-related QR tool only converts information or a third-party payment link supplied by you into a QR code.
Payments are handled by the relevant provider and are subject to that provider's terms, fees, security controls, dispute procedures and privacy practices. Verify the recipient and amount before completing any payment.
14. Analytics and advertising
QRmakerX uses Google AdSense to display advertising. Google and its partners may use cookies, local storage or similar technologies to deliver, measure and protect advertising, and where permitted by law and your consent choices, to personalise ads.
Visitors in applicable regions may be shown Google's consent management platform (CMP) to manage advertising consent choices. Your use of the website is also subject to the current Privacy Policy, which explains advertising, cookies and data handling in more detail.
Advertising services, technologies and providers may change over time. QRmakerX may update its advertising configuration provided applicable notices, privacy disclosures and legally required consent mechanisms are maintained.
15. Intellectual property
The QRmakerX name, branding, website design, original text, graphics and original software are protected by applicable intellectual-property laws unless otherwise stated.
You may not copy, reproduce, sell, redistribute, scrape, frame or commercially exploit substantial parts of the website without permission, except where permitted by law.
Third-party libraries, fonts, icons, models, images and other resources remain subject to their respective licences and rights.
16. Generated outputs
Subject to applicable law and third-party rights, you may use QR codes and other outputs you create through QRmakerX for personal or commercial purposes.
QRmakerX does not grant you rights to trademarks, logos, copyrighted works, confidential information or other protected material that you include or obtain from another source.
17. Privacy
Use of QRmakerX is also subject to the Privacy Policy. Review it before entering personal, confidential or sensitive information into any tool.
18. No professional advice
QRmakerX provides general-purpose technical tools and informational content. Nothing on the website constitutes legal, financial, medical, cybersecurity, regulatory or other professional advice.
Obtain suitable professional advice where your use involves legal compliance, financial transactions, sensitive information, health matters, security risks or significant business consequences.
19. Disclaimer of warranties
To the extent permitted by applicable law, QRmakerX is provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis.
QRmakerX does not guarantee accuracy, fitness for a particular purpose, merchantability, non-infringement, availability, security or that generated QR codes, files and other outputs will work in every environment.
Nothing in these Terms excludes warranties, remedies or consumer rights that cannot lawfully be excluded.
20. Limitation of liability
To the extent permitted by applicable law, QRmakerX will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, punitive or consequential losses arising from use of, or inability to use, the website.
This may include losses caused by incorrect QR content, failed scanning, printing issues, exposed WiFi credentials, inaccurate locations, broken external links, unavailable public files, deleted browser data, third-party failures, lost revenue, business interruption or reliance on website information.
Nothing in these Terms limits liability where limitation is prohibited by applicable law.
21. Indemnity
To the extent permitted by law, you are responsible for claims, losses, liabilities and reasonable expenses arising from your unlawful use of QRmakerX, your content or your violation of another person's rights.
22. Suspension and enforcement
QRmakerX may block, restrict or investigate access where it reasonably believes the website is being abused, attacked, overloaded or used unlawfully. QRmakerX may also cooperate with hosting providers, security services and lawful requests from competent authorities.
23. Changes to the website or Terms
QRmakerX may update the website, its tools or these Terms. The revised date will be displayed at the top of this page.
Continued use after updated Terms take effect means you accept the revised Terms, except where applicable law requires a different form of notice or consent.
24. Governing law and consumer rights
These Terms are governed by the laws of the United Arab Emirates to the extent applicable, without excluding mandatory consumer protections or other rights that cannot lawfully be waived.
Any dispute will be handled by the courts or authorities having jurisdiction under applicable law.
25. Severability
If any provision of these Terms is found invalid or unenforceable, the remaining provisions will continue to apply to the extent legally permitted.
26. Entire agreement
These Terms and the Privacy Policy form the agreement between you and QRmakerX concerning use of the website, unless a separate written agreement applies.
