The QR code contains the participant/sharing link. Keep the viewer link for yourself. Anyone with the viewer link can view the shared location while the session is active.
Ask the other person to scan this QR code using their phone camera. They will be shown the location-sharing page and must allow location permission before anything is shared.

Keep the viewer link private because anyone who has that viewer link may be able to see the shared location while the session is active.

Reliable live updates depend on the browser and device continuing to provide geolocation updates. Closing the page or restricting background activity may stop updates.
